Three Things – Gratitude (“the App”) is designed to be private by default. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1) Information you provide
The App lets you write gratitude entries. These entries are stored locally on your device (for example using on-device storage). We do not read or access your entries on our servers unless you explicitly choose to share them (for example, exporting or sharing content).
2) Purchases and subscriptions (RevenueCat)
If you choose to purchase a subscription or unlock premium features, the App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect and process purchase-related information such as transaction identifiers, subscription status, and device identifiers needed to verify purchases and provide access.
RevenueCat’s processing is governed by their own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing it: RevenueCat Privacy Policy.
3) Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand app performance (for example, crashes, basic usage, or feature adoption). If enabled, analytics may collect limited technical information such as device type, OS version, app version, and events (for example “export tapped”). We do not use analytics to collect the content of your gratitude entries.
4) Notifications
If you enable reminders, the App schedules notifications on your device. We do not receive your notification content or delivery status on our servers.
5) Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We only share information with service providers (such as RevenueCat) to operate purchases and maintain the App, and only as needed.
6) Data retention
Gratitude entries are stored on your device and remain there until you delete them (or uninstall the App). Purchase verification data is retained as required to maintain your subscription access.
7) Your choices
- You can delete entries inside the App (if the feature is available) or by uninstalling the App.
- You can disable notifications at any time in iOS Settings.
- You can manage subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
8) Children’s privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9) Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. However, no method of storage is 100% secure. You should keep your device secured (passcode/Face ID) to protect local data.
10) Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above.
