Unstory is designed to help you reflect, process emotions, and gain clarity safely. We intentionally minimize data collection — your personal reflections never leave your device.

Your written reflections, emotion entries, and grounding notes are stored exclusively on your device using local storage. They are never uploaded to our servers.

If you delete the app, all locally stored data is permanently removed from your device. We cannot recover this data on your behalf.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months in aggregated, non-identifiable form.

No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a device passcode or biometric lock to protect sensitive personal content.

Unstory is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

8. Subscription & Billing

Unstory offers optional in-app purchases (Unstory Premium). Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We do not process or store credit card information. All billing is handled by Apple.
