By accessing or using Unstory, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age (or 16 in certain jurisdictions), that you have read and understood these Terms, and that you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Unstory is a personal emotional clarity and reflection tool. The app provides guided question flows, grounding exercises, and session history to help users process emotions and gain perspective. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.
Unstory offers optional in-app purchases under "Unstory Premium." By purchasing a subscription or lifetime access, you agree to the following:
Subscriptions are managed and billed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your device settings under Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
No refunds will be issued for the current billing period after renewal. Cancellation stops future charges but does not refund the current period.

The free version of Unstory provides access to 5 emotional clarity sessions and core app features. No payment is required to use the free tier.
Content you write in the app (reflections, entries) is stored locally on your device. You retain full ownership of your content. By using the app, you grant us no rights to your personal reflections. We cannot access, view, or use your content.

All content, design, code, and branding in Unstory is owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our explicit written permission.
Unstory is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components. Your use of the app is at your sole risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Unstory. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the past 12 months.
Unstory is a self-help tool and is not intended to replace professional mental health care. The app does not provide therapy, diagnosis, or clinical treatment. If you are in crisis or need immediate help, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.

This app is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms and has no responsibility for the app. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Unstory. In the event of any failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligations. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app.
